Lady Friends

• There seems to be a rivalry brewing amongst the Rumormill Girls over August and his sweet bod.
  • Except one of them was recently murdered.
    • Disregard that, she's okay. She's just in the hospital, recovering and whatnot.

BFFs

• Scott and August have a "love/hate" relationship, and the slash stands for "skeeved out."
• August is treating Nele pretty shitty lately. This may come to bite him in the ass.

The Deal

• August recently contacted some creepy guy in a pizza place who said he could fix his problems

EMMA

Emma’s ex-boyfriend.

• David Pavlin. He exists somewhere. Maybe he feels bad. I don’t know. Shit would probably go down if he ever showed up. Emma hates him beyond all reason for willingly abandoning her to what essentially was her doom.
  • Emma's true history with Dave has been revealed. What happens now is up to fate. What's obvious is that she should never see him ever again.

Emma’s “Supplemental Income”

• Emma finally was able to sell her wares, but the old pharmaceutical company has been bought out recently by this "Black Book" corporation.

The Chaperone

• Emma wants to take a class at the community college, but she needs a chaperone to keep watch over her when she's in class. Something about Frieda being worried that Emma lacks the psychological stability to handle high school classes, let alone college classes.
  • And Frieda's suspicions have been confirmed.

Mom?

• Emma apparently dislikes her mom, even though she's never come up in conversation before. She's even more dodgy about this detail than she is all details about David and her father.
  • There was nothing about Emma's mother in her file, notably.
  • Regarding her mom, Emma has only said, "All my mom gave me was an abusive father."

What Power?

• Slash indicated that she has a power. The fact that she said "shut up" and made it impossible for a whole room full of people to speak indicates what that power is. Slash said it's what remains of Odyn. THIS IS HORRIBLE.

Tell Me I'm Pretty

• Emma broke down yesterday. Big time. Everything came out, and none of it was good. She needs major help.

GEORGE

A Pound of Flesh

• Condor gave most of his essence to resurrect Julie Williams after her vicious murder by Odyn. This left Condor unable to do anything more than give George advice until he recovers his missing self.

It's the New Me

• When George came back from Mexico, he was covered in a bunch of tattoos and filled with a new ichor
  • Made fun of Scott's feeble relationship with Emma as soon as he got back
  • Threw Manny under the bus to try to hide Condor from a couple other Monster kids

Joseph's Technicolor Dream-Gang

• They keep talking about George. Not sure why.

The Lighter

• George said that the lighter was something from the father he never knew. It and the Boston CD are the only mementos from his father.

Trial and Tribulations

• George said that his tattoos would disappear when he completed "the trials." He came back from Mexico and they are still here

MANNY

• Manny had a few gross dreams about eating George.
• Also he's pretty hungry right now.

• Was full of raw meat?

The Devil Wears Hoodies

• Tim keeps going on and on about what "Devil Kid" means, and Manny ain't so interested in letting him know.
• Manny's been complaining about back pain. Maybe he should get that checked out.

Mom?

• In the dream world, Frieda talked about Manny's mom coming to pick him up? What do they know that we don't?

NELE

Nell

• She exists. What this means, I have no idea. It’d certainly be important to Nele, though.

Nele hates monster people

• Nele doesn't like monster, period. Traumatic events and his upbringing lead him to believe that monsters and there kids can pose a threat on a catastrophic scale.
  • Nele has grown to understand the kid side of things, at least. Still doesn't stop him from talking smack to firebirds.

Devil's Advocate

• Nele seems to have taken up the roll of Manny's protector; He even calls himself Manny's Guardian Angel. If Manny is ever danger, Nele will try to save him, no matter the cost.

SCOTT

Fly Like an Eagle

• Scott managed to pull off some Matrix jumps using his wings in a dream last night. Maybe it can work in real life?

Getting his Feathers Ruffled

• Scott still gets a little offended when people bring up his condition. Why's he got to be such a whiny bitch?

NPC THREADS

Black Book

• These guys are everywhere. They've been seen rebuilding damage to jewelry stores and high-rise buildings. They've also taken over a local pharmaceutical company.

T-40-U.M.B.R.A.

• The kids went on a wild goose chase leading up to a big robot in an old factory. It was incredibly well-armed and interested in Condor. The kids don't know what its particular interest was, but thanks to Condor, they know one thing: It came from Black Book

Butch

• The news recently reported a breakout at the Troy Juvenal Center. The kids met Butch in a shared dream where he said he didn't need to escape. They're not so sure what it means.

Dash

• This asshole knows where you live... somehow. He also seems to know Mrs. Frieda. She even calls him Dashy. Oh, and almost all the girls (and some boys) want to go out with him.
  • Now he has a girlfriend. Collage age, even.

Elder Dane

• Emma convinced him to stay on the case. He needed to bring in his assistant to work the daytime hours.

Gossip Girls

• Julie's alive and well, but needs a great deal of physical and emotional therapy to successfully recover. Nonetheless, everyone's pretty happy that she's okay.

MIB

• The MIB only knows that some weird Mayan God firebird thing is in Troy and it is responsible for the loss of their temporary office.
• George used his monster in its full glory to fight a bully. On top of Frieda's. In broad daylight. The case is hereby re-opened.
• He then flew off to Chichen Itza on top of his flaming bird twice.

OTHER THREADS

The Suitcase (and contents thereof)

This isn’t Manny’s suitcase. Also it seems to be filled with all kinds of random tools, and a passport (belonging to a Sergio Harper, 300 Pounds, Blood Type O+).

• It's an assistant of Elder Dane? What's its real purpose?

There is Something in your Basement

Seriously. It's down there and it sounds hungry. Stay away. Also there are ghosts in the house. They're willing to communicate and they're terrified of the thing in the basement's basement. Deal with it.

Hack & Slash

• A serial killer worshiping Odyn is on the loose in Troy. He keeps killing vagrants.
  • Odyn may be dead, but Slash is still around. The police are looking for him, and Emma has started to assist in their investigation.

The Good Doctor

• So he's living in a tank in the junkyard. Uh, cool?

Thems Some Dead Animals

• Some animals have turned up dead out near LaFey National Park. Seems the bones have been stripped clean.

A Lecture out of Time

• Mr Carter is sooo boring. He teaches the civics of things man was not know. Anyone who listens to him for any amount of time will pass out. Luckily, his class seems easy to sneak out of.
  • Estu has caught a glimpse of the dark (and incompetent) truth behind this class.
  • Tim also got a glimpse. Turn's out, Yithians are a bunch of jerks (or at lest the one he met).
